What Are The Reasons For The Increasing
Interest In Beauty ?

in recent years, there is an increase in beauty, and I’m going to talk about
the reasons for the increasing interest in beauty. There might be many reasons
for this, but media is the first reason for this increase.There are so many
attractive people on magazine covers and TV programs that we compare ourselves
with them, and we want to be as beautiful as they are. Also, we are trying to
seem like them and want to be perfect like them. There is no reason that we
don’t think like that since everyone who we see on TV and magazines is so
perfect and charming. Media affects us dramatically. Another reason is the
desire to be admired by the opposite sex. Eventhough many people say that inner
beauty is more important than the outlook, in reality, physical apparence is
the main criterion when we meet someone, unfortunately. Therefore, we try to
look more beautiful to attract someone. Furthermore, being attractive can be advantage to get the job or promote. Last but not least, feeling lonely and
depressed may be a reason for the increasing interest in beauty. Such people change their outlook to cope with their feelings and to feel better. To sum up,
beauty affects us one way or another.
